January, 2013 - BLFI accredited Prisoners of Christ Mission International and several other         organizations as partners in Transformation.
January 26, 2013 - ICC launches the 2013 National Bible Week at MaxSeCom, NBP.
February 9, 2013 - ICC is re-organized and expanded as United Council of Christian         Communities (UCCC) with PG1 Roderick Bombasi as Supervisor;United         Council of Christian Communities – General Assembly
March 1, 2013 - The first Silent Fancy Drill Competition participated by the inmate- security         forces, MaxSeCom, NBP; Recognition of the BLFI Security Force
March 14, 2013 - Recognition and Oathtaking of UCCC Servants and Stewards
March 16, 2013 - BLFI supports the Ordination of the Alliance of Baptist Bishops of Asians Inc.,         at the PhilSOL, MaxSeCom, NBP.
March 20, 2013 - Launching of the CARE Summit (Community Action on Reformation         Endeavour) at the BuCor Conference Room attended by Officials of the         BuCor Love Foundation and Bureau of Corrections. Former USEC, Atty. Ron         Salo was elected as the new Chairman of the Board of Trustees, former Chief         Superintendent Armando Miranda as incoming President.
March 20, 2013 - BLFI awarded Special Certificates to:
        1. Mr. Rollo Alarcon, for his untiring efforts, selfless dedication, sacrifices and         leadership behind the BuCor Re-Engineering that made BuCor Modernization         Act of 2013 a reality…; and
        2. PG1 Lawrence Tayhon for his unwavering efforts, utmost dedication and         able leadership behind the rallying and lobbying for the ratification of the         Bureau of Corrections Act of 2013 …
April 4, 2013 - ADCA Catalino A. Malinao was featured on television program of APRUB, Net25.
April 5, 2013 - Facilitated the Acebedo Optical Mission’s Free eye check-up and consultations,         held at the PhilSOL Bldg., Presidio, MaxSeCom, NBP; and the following day         at the Visiting Hall of the Medium Security Compound (MedSeCom), NBP.
April 19, 2013 - Derma Mission led by British Dr. Sandy Mcleod at the NBP Hospital,         MaxSeCom, NBP.
April 19, 2013 - Graduation 1st Batch – MSTP at GIG, MaxSeCom, NBP.
May 1, 2013 - BLFI Thanksgiving for ADCA Catalino A. Malinao and ADCO Antonio C. Cruz,         hosted by the Officers of the BLFI Reformation and Advisory Boards, at the         GIG, MaxSeCom, NBP.
June 5-14, 2013 - BLFI in partnership with the Inmates Coordination Council and Action Center         (ICCAC), the Office of the Chief Medical and Dental Division (NBP Hospital),         the Office of the ADCA, the Office of the ADCO, and Office of the         Superintendent, NBP conducted a camp- wide Registration for Senior         Citizens (SC) and Persons With Disabilities (PWD) inside MaxSeCom, NBP.
June 20, 2013 - BLFI Chairman Ron P. Salo was featured on television program APRUB, Net25.
June 25, 2013 - UCCC Symposium at Freedom Church, MaxSeCom, NBP.
June 27, 2013 - Graduation of Peace of Mind Course (from Brahma Kumaris), Launching of         Pause-Muna & Peace-Muna Program and Distribution of Senior Citizens’         Cards at, MaxSeCom, NBP. (Organized by BLFI’s Reflexology Team with the         Former Sen. Leticia Ramos-Shahani as Guest Speaker.)
July 6, 2013 - BuCor-BLFI Thanksgiving Service at the Multi-Purpose Covered Court,         MaxSeCom, NBP, organized by the UCCC (Theme: “Taos Pusong         Pasasalamat”) for the passage of Republic Act No. 10575 and 10592         otherwise known as “the Bureau of Corrections Act of 2013” and “GCTA Law”         respectively.
July 6, 2013 - BLFI submitted Position Papers on the proposed IRR for RA 10575 and 10592         otherwise known as “the Bureau of Corrections Act of 2013” and “GCTA Law”         respectively.
July 19, 2013 - BLFI supported the Muntinlupa City Parole and Probation Office’s Tree Planting         at Las Piñas City.
August 10, 2013 - ARAIS Graduation of 25 Muslim Students of Al-Rahma Arabic and Islamic         School held at the Al-Rahma Mosque and Cultural Center, MaxSeCom, NBP.
August 23, 2013 - Graduation of 380 students of the MSTP – “Package of Salvation” held at the         GIG Court, MaxSeCom, NBP.
September 10, 2013 - Graduation Ceremony: Values Formation Seminar of OXO Brotherhood         at the RCC-OLLO, MaxSeCom, NBP, (Theme: “Salamat, Ginising Mo Ako”
September 11, 2013 - Completion of the Beneficiary ID Project. IDs were issued to all registered         Senior Citizens (SC) and Persons With Disabilities (PWD) inside the         MaxSeCom, NBP.
September 15, 2013 - Graduation of 138 BRM & BSL students of the MSTP - “Package of         Salvation” held at the Calvary Chapel, MaxSeCom, NBP.
September 16, 2013 - Orientation Lecture for Reflexology Team Batch 7 at the GIG Function         Hall, MaxSeCom, NBP, facilitated by BLFI RB Agus Dwikarna, Chairman of         Reflexology Team.
September 21, 2013 - Socio-Ecumenical Thanksgiving Service at Amazing Grace Church,         MaxSeCom, NBP; Recognition and Oathtaking of the members of the BLFI         Advisory Board. One (1) sack of Rice was donated to the Senior Citizens         Community.
September 28, 2013 - UCCC Saturday Worship Service at the GIG Plaza, MaxSeCom, NBP,         (PG1 Roderick Bombasi as speaker).
October 16, 2013 - The Recognition and Induction of Officers of the BuCor Muslim Community         (chaired by Ustadz Rohmat Adburrahim), held at the Al-Rahma Mosque,         MaxSeCom, NBP. ADCA Catalino A. Malinao (Guest of Honor/Keynote         Speaker), PG1 Roderick B. Bombasi (Inspirational Message).
October 26, 2013 - UCCC Saturday Worship Service and Feeding Program for the Elderly at         the GIG Plaza, MaxSeCom, NBP, (ADCA Catalino A Malinao - Word of God;         PG1 Roderick B. Bombasi - Words of Encouragement); Blessing of new         facilities: Reflexology Clinic, Library, Gym, etc.
November 4, 2013 - BLFI Security Force Symposium at the Amazing Grace Church.
November 11-15, 2013 - BLFI Security Force Training Workshop. 45 out of the 84 officers and         members completed and passed the Training Workshop in accordance to the         Program of Instructions duly approved by the Bureau of Corrections as the         1st training workshop to be held inside the MaxSeCom, NBP for auxiliary         forces.
November 15, 2013 - Entry of 3 units BLFI Pedicabs inside MaxSeCom, NBP.
November 16, 2013 - BLFI Security Force Graduation / BLFI Anniversary were jointly held at the         Amazing Grace Church, MaxSeCom, NBP. (Atty. Ron P. Salo, Chairman of         the Board of Trustees, BLFI, and Members of the Board of Trustees and         ADCA Catalino A. Malinao.) One (1) sack of Rice was donated to the Senior         Citizens Community.
November 19, 2013 - Amazing Grace Church, MaxSeCom, was designated as the new         Headquarters (HQ) of the BLFI Security Force.
November 30, 2013 - UCCC Last Saturday Worship Service with Feeding Program.
December 1, 7, 2013 - Selected members of the BLFI Security Force attended Seminar on         Behavior Modification organized by RB Moises Dejolde, entitled “Positive         Emotion and Happiness” conducted by Skwelang Sikolohiya at RCC-OLLO,         MaxSeCom.
December 3, 2013 - Completion of SCORECARD System (acronym stands for: Systematic         Consolidation Of Reformation Eligibilities, Credentials And Records         Database) – after a year of design and development.
December 3, 2013 - Recognition of the BLFI Catholic Community (St. Joseph) with AB Cedrick         Punzalan as its head.
December 4, 2013 - AB Ernesto Kid Manuel was duly as Advisory Board Chairman replacing AB         Danny Arzadon, AB Marcial Llanto Jr. as temporary Secretary; AB Nilo Avelina         and RB Hilario Soriano were retained as Treasurer and Auditor respectively.
December 7, 2013 - Graduation of the MSTP - “Package of Salvation” (Batch 4) of 116 Batman         inmates held at the Amazing Grace Church, MaxSeCom, NBP, organized by         UCCC Head Servant RB Nestor Tuguinay.
December 14, 2013 - BLFI Christmas Thanksgiving Service held at the Amazing Grace Church,         MaxSeCom, NBP. One (1) sack of Rice was donated to the Reflexology         Community.
December 31, 2013 - Graduation of Reflexology Batch 7 held at the Amazing Grace Church,         MaxSeCom, NBP; and a Farewell Party of RB Agus Dwikarna (released         January 1, 2014); Eric Cosing was elected was Agus’ replacement.
